Preoperative Education Class is a program that guides patients and their families or caregivers through the upcoming procedure, and explains what to expect before and after surgery and during recovery.

Topics include orientation to the hospital, physical therapy, occupational therapy, discharge planning and coordinated postoperative rehabilitation.
