The Pulmonary Function Lab at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center (LWRMC) provides a comprehensive program of tests to help diagnose lung disease. The Pulmonary Function lab provides convenient, efficient testing for both children and adults.
Services available include:
Arterial blood gas collection and analysis
Resting and exercise pulse oximetry
Forced Vital Capacity (FVC) (pre- and post-bronchodilator)
Flow volume loops (pre- and post-bronchodilator)
MVV testing (pre- and post-bronchodilator)
Lung volume testing via helium washout
Diffusion studies
