Village Idiots Cycling Club to Host the 2019 Women on Wheels Cycling Event
In partnership with Lakewood Ranch Medical Center
On November 17, 2019, the Village Idiots Cycling Club (VICC) will host the sixth Annual Women on Wheels (WOW) cycling event at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center (LWRMC) from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The purpose of the event is to promote a healthy lifestyle, empower women in the community and encourage more women to get involved in cycling. The event will include a 40-mile and a 60-mile route and is fully supported and sponsored by local businesses with all proceeds benefiting Girl’s Inc. and the Lakewood Ranch Medical Center Auxiliary.

Dr. Edgardo Aponte, Village Idiots Cycling Club Executive Board Secretary and physician at OB/GYN Women’s Centre of Lakewood Ranch, added, “The Village Idiots Cycling Club is committed to initiatives that keep our community active and we are excited about our partnership with Lakewood Ranch Medical Center to host the 2019 WOW event.
