The Emergency Department — Lakewood Ranch Medical Center provides the community with a 24/7 Emergency Department (ER) that is fully prepared to treat patients of all ages for a wide array of illnesses and injuries. Physicians and staff at the ER are highly experienced in managing health emergencies for adults and children of all ages, and are dedicated to providing high quality emergency care.

Cardiovascular Services — Lakewood Ranch Medical Center has received Chest Pain Center accreditation with PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention) from the American College of Cardiology and offers a range of technologically advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures performed by experienced medical professionals, including cardiac catheterization, stress testing, peripheral angiography, echocardiography (ECG) and electrocardiography (EKG) and treatment for pulmonary embolism. The heart catheterization lab includes a STEMI program that provides coronary interventions for patients who may experience a heart attack.
The Women and Children's Center — The Center provides family-centered care throughout the childbirth process. Family-style birthing suites provide a private, comfortable, secure environment with homelike surroundings during labor and after childbirth, and family-focused education programs and support groups are provided for expectant families and those with newborns.
The Breast Health Center — Offering comprehensive diagnostic breast healthcare, including 3-D mammography which enables physicians to examine breast tissue one layer at a time so very small cancers can be detected during the first screening, breast MRI, computer-aided detection (CAD), breast ultrasound, stereotactic breast biopsy, high risk screening (including genetic testing), wireless mass localizations and other advanced technologies.
The Sleep Center — Lakewood Ranch Medical Center provides patients who have sleep disorders with the advanced technology and treatment they need at the Sleep Center. The Center treats a wide range of sleep disorders including snoring; sleep apnea; excessive daytime sleepiness; restless leg syndrome; periodic limb movement disorder; parasomnias including sleepwalking, night terrors and nocturnal eating disorders; hypersomnia, insomnia and narcolepsy.
Imaging/Radiology — We provide imaging services to our patients 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Our technicians use advanced digital equipment to perform services including digital radiology, fluoroscopy, GE 64-slice computerized tomography (CT) and Philips 16-slice scanners, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Stroke and Cerebrovascular Center — Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is certified by the Joint Commission as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and is a Get With the Guidelines Stroke GOLD PLUS Achievement Award hospital. The Center provides prompt, expert treatment for stroke patients as well as stroke prevention, intervention, rehabilitation and education.
Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine — The Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine uses advanced medical techniques to help the healing process for wounds that don't heal through conventional methods. The staff includes physicians with advanced training in wound management and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, nurses trained in care of chronic wounds and technicians who perform noninvasive studies and various therapies. Our center has been awarded with national recognition as a Center of Excellence for outstanding clinical outcomes.
