You Can Make a Difference
Volunteers are an important part of Lakewood Ranch Medical Center and they add a valued dimension to patient care. We currently have more than 150 caring, dedicated individuals volunteering with us to help improve the quality of healthcare in our community, and we are very grateful for everything they do.
Volunteers are a special group of people who further enhance the high quality of patient care and services provided at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. We value the expertise they bring and the level of excellence they exhibit in all they do. The volunteers are a community within a community at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. They are always welcome and we have availability in many departments. We accept applications at anytime.

Our VolunTEEN program runs for eight weeks each summer for teens age 15-18. It provides participants an opportunity to volunteer in a hospital environment with the goal of learning more about the healthcare industry and themselves while helping others. VolunTEENs are expected to commit to volunteering at least four hours a week for all eight weeks of the program.
If you are interested in applying for our VolunTEEN program, please email Christina Soderberg at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please see the printable overview, application and reference forms below. The deadline for application submission is April 30. The VolunTEEN program runs June through August. Interested participants are welcome to email their application request at any time during the year.
