Lakewood Ranch Medical Center Foundation Opens 2024 Nursing Scholarship Applications
Lakewood Ranch Medical Center Foundation (LWRMCF) is now accepting 2024 Nursing Scholarship applications. The Foundation’s Nursing Scholarship Program originated in 2019 and has continued to provide scholarships to students in college nursing programs at the undergraduate or graduate level who are affiliated with Lakewood Ranch Medical Center.
Who can apply?
Students who are currently enrolled in an Associate of Science degree in Nursing (ASN) program, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree program while completing their clinical affiliation at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, and nurses who are currently employed at the hospital and enrolled in a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program, are encouraged to apply.
"The Lakewood Ranch Medical Center Foundation is committed to nursing education and the development of a highly skilled nursing workforce,” says President of the Lakewood Ranch Medical Center Foundation, Carole Cowan. “Thanks to community partners, our Board members, and our fundraising efforts, we'll be able to offer degree-seeking nursing students scholarships again this year."
When does the scholarship application need to be submitted?
Interested applicants are encouraged to complete the LWRMC Foundation Nursing Application online, and submit it by March 15, 2024. Scholarships will be awarded in April.
