Lakewood Ranch Medical Center 2019 Accomplishments
Lakewood Ranch Medical Center (LWRMC) is proud to announce 2019 accomplishments ranging from celebrating a 15 year anniversary, completing a $28.5 million renovation project, receiving a Leapfrog “A” for Fall and announcing its first freestanding emergency department (FED) in Sarasota County.
Manatee Healthcare System Group Vice President and Manatee Memorial Hospital CEO Kevin DiLallo stated, “I am proud of the growth within the hospital and local community in 2019. Growth means improving services for our patients in their own local communities — this is the heart of our mission.”
LWRMC CEO Andy Guz added, “Among many other accomplishments and completion of our $28.5 million expansion project, in 2019 LWRMC was voted “Best Hospital in Manatee County” by the readers of the Sarasota Herald Tribune. This award confirms the high levels of quality and service that we continue to provide to our local communities. Looking to the future, LWRMC will continue to expand services, educational events and community partnerships, and will announce the next renovation project in spring 2020.”
