Lakewood Ranch Medical Center Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center (LWRMC) is pleased to share some news. Robbert (Rob) Anderson, MBA, is the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This change is effective today. In this role, Anderson leads the team to improve the hospital’s commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services. This is for the Lakewood Ranch community and beyond. We thank interim CEO Philip Reber for his dedicated service and leadership during this period. Reber will remain as Chief Operating Officer (COO) reporting to Anderson.
Anderson has over 25 years of experience in healthcare leadership. He comes to LWRMC from Tenet Healthcare. There, he was the CEO of Memorial Campus and Providence Children’s Hospital. Memorial Campus is a 480-bed hospital in El Paso, Texas. It focuses on women’s health, orthopedics, oncology, cardiovascular care, neurosciences, and general surgery. Providence Children’s Hospital is a 144-bed pediatric facility. It has a pediatric NICU, pediatric oncology, and surgical services. Before that, Anderson was the CEO of Tenet’s Sierra Campus and Specialty Campus. This is a 297-bed hospital that focuses on heart care, brain health, and orthopedic services. He was the Market Chief Strategy Officer for The Hospitals of Providence. He also worked as the Administrator and COO of Providence Children’s Hospital.
Anderson has a clear vision and strong leadership skills. These will help improve operations. They will also enhance patient care and promote teamwork among staff and employees.
